Complaints

Our aim at the British Embassy in Phnom Penh is to provide an efficient service to the public in Cambodia. However, in any organisation, sometimes things may go wrong. In this case, please let us know as soon as possible. We will do our best to respond to your complaint quickly, and try to ensure that you and others do not have cause to complain again.

This page tells you whom to contact and how. It also explains how we will deal with your complaint.

Who to complain to?

The Visa section aims to provide an efficient and courteous service to all visa applicants. If you have any complaints about the service provided by this section please write to the Deputy Head of Mission at the British Embassy who will respond where possible within 20 working days.

Alternatively, you can contact UK Border Agency, the UK Department responsible for issuing visas overseas.

What you should do?

In all cases, please provide:

A clear name, address and telephone number
A clear description of your complaint
As much detail of names, dates, places etc as possible

What we will do?

All complaints are taken seriously and we aim to provide a full reply within 20 WORKING DAYS.

If we can not give you a full reply within this time, we shall tell you when we expect to do so and keep you up-to-date with progress.

WE DO NEED TO KNOW FROM YOU IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG. ONLY THEN CAN WE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT AND IMPROVE THE SERVICE WE OFFER.
